Call for Special Issue contributions

02/09/2024

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that we are preparing a special edition of the Journal “Economics - Theory and Practice” entitled "Green Transition and Circular Economy" and hereby invite you to contribute your papers to the quality exchange and expansion of knowledge on this very current and challenging topic.

The modern economy faces major societal challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and water and air pollution, which undoubtedly affect global ecosystems, food production, and human health. Green transition changes the way existing business processes are performed and encourages the process of creating and implementing new business strategies for the circular economy. One of the main goals of today’s science should be the development and promotion of sustainable technologies and practices. Therefore, this Special Issue aims to collect original research papers, reviews, or opinions related to the natural, economic and social challenges associated with the green transition and circular economy. We would particularly encourage submissions on the following topics:

  • Societal, climatic, economic, legal and political aspects of Green Transition
  • Economics of sustainable ecosystems and sustainable finance
  • Digital technologies and green economy development
  • Development of sustainable models for circular economy societies
  • Importance of education in the process of green transition and circular economy

We are inviting you to contribute work to this special issue. Researchers who would like to be considered for participation in this special edition should submit their paper, via email or platform casopis.fimek.edu.rs/submissions.

Deadline for submission of abstracts: April 1, 2024.

Abstracts should be sent to the e-mail address [email protected], with an indication of the special number.
