APPLICATION OF THE CRITICAL PATH METHOD - A CASE STUDYOF THE ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT OF NOVI SAD

Abstract

The paper work presents activities organized by the organization The
Environmental Movement of Novi Sad in the period between January and July
2016. A large number of different activities carried out by this organization
and their interdependence causes various kinds of difficulties during their realization. This paper provides the analysis of the structure of activities and time
necessary for their realization using the Network Planningand CPM method.
This method gives us the possibility to analyze the relationship between previous
and upcoming activities, their interdependence, duration, as well as the possibility to identify activities that present a potential threat for the realization of the
whole project. Nowadays, thanks to the modern technologies and new software,
data analysis has become much easier. For the purpose of this research we used
the software package called“MS Project Manager”.
