Abstract

The aim of this paper is to emphasize the importance of information
and communication technologies in education. This primarilyrefers to the teaching staff of higher education institutions and the development of their competencies and skills needed for using multimedia content in teaching. In support of
that statement, our paper is focused on the teaching staff included in the conducted research on the application of new information and communication technologies in teaching and its influence on motivation, acquisition of knowledge
and increase in student satisfaction.
